MATCH REPORT (GIRLS) – R1 V DANDENONG STINGRAYS

EASTERN RANGES – 1.2.8

DANDENONG STINGRAYS – 9.4.58

The Eastern Ranges Under 18 Girls suffered a 50 point defeat at the hands of the Dandenong Stingrays at Holm Park Reserve, Beaconsfield.

The Stingrays took a commanding 33 point halftime lead as the Ranges failed to capitalise on opportunities late in both quarters, missing a shot out on the full.

Five minutes into the third quarter, debutant Saskia Nannes kicked our first and only major score.

Tarni Brown had a team high 20 disposals, including 11 kicks and our Captain Olivia Meagher fought hard with 16 disposals and four tackles.

Congratulations to Eloise Chaston, Cadhla Schmidli, Lily Peacock, Jorja Livingstone, Saskia Nannes, Keeley Sherar and Georgia Campbell who made their U18 NAB League Girls Debut.

Our U18 Girls will have a bye for this upcoming weekend and will play Tasmania Devils on Sunday 15 March at Kilsyth Recreation Reserve.

Best: Madeleine Di Cosmo, Olivia Meagher, Jorja Livingstone, Tarni Brown, Saskia Nannes & Lily Peacock.
